Players use powerful exo-suits equipped with full-flight jetpacks and tactical subsystems to engage each other across large landscapes equivalent to several square kilometers. Drawing gameplay inspiration from classic titles such as Counter-Strike and Tribes, ExoCorps is a multiplayer arena FPS set in the near future where an international initiative is testing new military technologies for use across the globe and into the solar system.
Your exo-suit generates power. Power is your health, power is flight, power is your ammunition. Find the balance between offense and defense to gain the advantage.
The more you fly, the more you shoot, the more heat and noise you make and the easier you are to detect. Run silent to stay stealthy and get the drop on your targets. Some weapons are harder to detect than others, so choose wisely for your first strike.
Large arenas covering several square kilometers encourage search-and-destroy gameplay. Track your enemies and engage them at extreme ranges, or fly closer for frenzied dogfighting action.
One weapon incorporates six firing modes, so you can choose the right one for the job.
Minigun: Extreme firing rate is useful for short ranges.
Dart Launcher: Fires slow moving missiles with a high damage yield.
Autocannon: High velocity cannon for bombarding your opponent at long range.
Laser: Instant hit, perfect accuracy, low damage, high rate of fire.
Plasma Rifle: Fast energy bolts cause the highest damage per second.
Railgun: Instant hit, high damage, low rate of fire.
Launch guided Missile Swarms against locked-on opponents to blast them out of the air. Launch flares to defend against incoming swarms. Use your cloak to stay stealthy and avoid detection. Use your Recon Pulse (at great cost of power) to detect enemies around the map.
